2009 Super Bowl Player Props
Player to win the 2009 Super Bowl MVP award was just one of many Super Bowl betting props being offered by SBG Global for Sunday's big game featuring the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Favorites to win the MVP award were Ben Roethlisberger (paying almost $200 for every $100 bet at SBG Global), Kurt Warner (paying 2/1 odds), Larry Fitzgerald (paying $500 for every $100 bet) and Willie Parker (paying $650 for every $100 bet).
But the 2009 Super Bowl player props encompassed far more than just who would be named Most Valuable Player.
"Among the highest paying odds are such Super Bowl player props as whether Ben Roethlisberger's first pass will be an interception, with the payout being $800 on every $100 bet," said Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com. "There will always be player props with some great value. The savvy sports bettor mulls over every one and picks his poison accordingly."
It should be noted that Cardinals quarterback, Kurt Warner, has similar odds of throwing an interception with the first pass.
Total passing yards by Roethlisberger also pays $800 for every $100 bet if his range is between 0 and 100 yards. The payouts in between that and 300 yeards are less (from $140 to $180 on a $100 bet). Over 300 yards pays out $400 for every $100 bet.
The player to score the first touchdown in the game is also among the more popular Super Bowl player props.
