Arizona Cardinals Super Bowl Line of +7 a Rare Commodity Now

At one point early last week more than 90 percent of the sportsbooks had the Arizona Cardinals Super Bowl line set at +7 after opening +6 ½.  By 5 am EST Super Bowl Sunday, only 15 percent of the reporting sportsbooks were offering the +7 line.

Among the online sportsbooks that maintained the Arizona line at +7: - betED.com,  a company that incidentally was offering to add 50 percent cash back to any first bet that was a winner (keep that in mind Cardinals fans).

The Cardinals +7 point line is especially useful for those looking to feature Arizona as part of a teaser bet.

Now while we have your attention, Gambling911.com wanted to take a moment to reflect upon what is one of the better trends in Sunday's big game, and this one applies to Cardinals bettors.

On the first half total in all games played against a team with a winning record in the second half of the season, the OVER for Arizona is 11-1 during the past three seasons.   The first half total in this game was 23 ½.

We also wanted to alert Arizona gamblers that nearly 90 percent of the money line action was going the Cardinals way.  This trend could really KO the sportsbooks should Arizona win outright.  The Cardinals would pay out nearly $200 for every $100 bet at betED.com on the money line should they win the 2009 Super Bowl outright.

As of 5 am EST the action on the spread, particularly with those books offering a line of Arizona -6 1/2 , was nearly dead even between Arizona and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Remember, Gambling911.com will be covering the Super Bowl betting scene and all line move trends throughout the day.
