There is still plenty of time in which to bet but remember - just like the Christmas shopping rush - trying to place bets during the final minutes leading into the Super Bowl will be hit or miss.   Super Bowl traffic for the most part at press time was calm but steady.  Many of the websites will be tough to access during those final minutes.  We cannot stress this enough.

90 percent of reporting sportsbooks had the Pittsburgh Steelers odds at -6 ½.  Let's break down a few of these:

Sportsbook.com - Steelers -6 ½

Bookmaker.com - Steelers -6 ½

BetUS.com - Steelers -6 ½

betED.com - Cardinals +7
Las Vegas Hilton - Steelers -6 ½

Mirage - Steelers -7

Planet Hollywood -6 ½

Pinnacle Sports (non US) -6 ½

Sportingbet.com (non US) -6 ½

All online sportsbooks at this hour had the total set at Over/Under 46.5.

As for the money line betting, Gambling911.com has found that Arizona winning outright with a line of +210 and payout of $210 for every $100 bet at betED.com was one of the best 2009 Super Bowl payout odds available at this hour. Bookmaker.com was offering a reduced -245 line (compared to the average -270 we were seeing elsewhere) on Pittsburgh winning outright.  You would need to bet $245 ($2.45) to win $100 ($1.00) on the Steelers outright win (without a cover).  You only receive your initial bet back if the Steelers win.
