The online poker site known for making players happy is upping the ante again. Americas Cardroom today announced the launch of Happy Hours, an extension of its popular Sit & Crush points race. During select hours, poker players will automatically earn double points towards the Sit & Crush leaderboard.
"Our Sit & Crush weekly points race for Sit and Go players has seen a phenomenal turnout, but we think there's opportunity for players to climb higher up the leaderboard," said Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. "So during select hours, we're giving players the chance to leapfrog the competition by earning double points."
From Monday, June 2nd between 4:00pm and 7:00pm ET on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, Americas Cardroom players will automatically earn double points towards the Sit & Crush leaderboard.

Sit & Crush is a progressive points race that's funded through tournament fees collected in every Sit and Go game. The leaderboard competition gives poker players a new chance to race to the top of a leaderboard for cash prizes and tourney seats each week, just by playing Sit and Go tournaments. At the end of each 7-day period, the Sit & Crush prize pool is distributed to players who rank on the weekly leaderboard.
With a new leaderboard each week, SnG players have the opportunity to participate in a brand new large-scale Sit & Crush tournament every seven days, winning their way to land-based events like the LSOP and the Punta Cana Poker Classic.
