The payout for Team USA to win against Germany in the Group Stage of the 2014 World Cup was anywhere from US$750 to US$1050 for every US$100 bet or US$75 to US$105 for every US$10 bet depending on the book.

The US-facing books were seeing more disproportionate action in favor of the Americans compared to their European counterparts.  As such, the best payout would be US$80 on a US$10 bet or US$800 on a US$100 bet at Bookmaker.

While a draw gets both teams into the Round of 16, Germany and the USA have faced off nine times previously; but there has never been a draw.

Germany have claimed six wins to the USA’s three across those nine matches.

The USA have played Germany twice before in the FIFA World Cup; losing both of those games to nil.

Germany were made to taste defeat in their last match against the USA; they were on the end of 4-3 defeat in Washington DC during June 2013.

The USA have shipped 12 goals across their last four matches against Germany.

USA have scored exactly twice in their last six matches in all competitions.

USA have scored in eight successive World Cup games, their best run since their opening eight matches (1930-1990).

Germany have scored in 19 of their last 20 World Cup group games.
