Claims Administrator, the Garden City Group, has announced that former pros of the online poker site Full Tilt Poker could qualify to receive payments due following that company’s abrupt April 2011 exit from the US market.

The company shut its doors soon after but was eventually resurrected by PokerStars, which entered into an agreement with US authorities to facilitate payment to players affected by the closure.

Until Tuesday (August 12), Team Full Tilt Poker pros were told they might not be eligible for payments.  US Customers of FTP have been recovering funds via the Garden City Group in recent months.

“Notice to professional players of Full Tilt Poker”

It has been determined that players designated by FUll Tilt Poker  (“FTP”) as “professionals”, other than Team Full Tilt Players, will be able to submit Petitions for Remission to recover the portion of their account balance that is not attributable to compensation provided by FTP or Affiliate revenue. If you are a professional player, you will be able to submit a Petition for the portion of your account balance that relates to poker  transactions, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.
