2014 College Football betting odds for Iowa, Louisville and Notre Dame were available at BetOnline.
Iowa had odds of winning the National Championship at 80-1, Louisville at 250-1 and Notre Dame at 95-1.
Season win totals were also available on each of these three teams.
Iowa was a very big favorite to win OVER 8 regular season games in 2014.
The Hawkeyes have one of the easier schedules in College Football but their defense could be in trouble, as Scout.com reports.
It’s not just about losing veteran tacklers and playmakers from a defense that finished sixth in the nation and 19th against the run; it’s about losing heart-and-soul types in Anthony Hitchens, James Morris and Christian Kirksey. The three grew into the jobs together, and last season they were the team’s three top tacklers, combining for 223 stops with 12.5 sacks and 36.5 tackles for loss with six picks – with most of the big plays coming from Morris. The Hawkeyes aren’t starting from scratch, but they need a big emergence and push coming from senior Quinton Alston in the middle and Reggie Spearman and Travis Perry on the outside.
