The last two winners of the FedExCup were ranked in the top five heading into the Tour Championship so it is easy to make a case for Kirk, Horschel, Watson, McIlroy or Mahan winning this event.
Every player in the 29-man field has a chance to win but realistically only the top 8 or nine players have any shot as they would need to win and then have the top five players struggle. McIlroy is the favorite to win the tournament and he is definitely capable of having a big week.
