Florida Gators vs. Alabama Crimson Tide Betting Line
The Florida Gators vs. Alabama Crimson Tide betting line had the Tide as a -14 home favorite but that is considered a small number for mighty Alabama. BetDSI.com was offering wagering on this game here.
The Tide have beaten the Gators three times in row and have covered the spread in eight of the last nine meetings. That said, Alabama is 0-3 Against The Spread this season. It is hard for us here at Gambling911.com to imagine they would go 0-4 ATS if they end up going 4-0 Straight Up with this game. And the Gators haven’t beaten the Tide in Alabama since 1998.
To say that Alabama has been a bit underwhelming this season might be pushing it a bit. Nonetheless, they have played schools that were not even remotely considered competition yet Bama still failed to cover.
The Florida Gators were fortunate to win last week as they won in three overtimes against Kentucky. Quarterback Jeff Driskell has played pretty well this season but he takes a huge step up in competition this week. One thing that is clear is that Demarcus Robinson is a very good receiver. He has 21 receptions for 339 yards and three scores. The defense is nothing special as they couldn’t stop Kentucky last week.
