Packers-Bears Betting Line: Week 4 Fantasy Value Jordy Nelson, Alshon Jeffery
The Packers-Bears betting line had Chicago as a +1.5 underdog at home. Green Bay was seeing 70% of the action in this game and the bookmakers will certainly be rooting for Chicago here. The Packers were the 2nd most wagered on side after Atlanta heading into Sunday. Oddsmakers are reacting to this betting activity.
A main reason for the public’s love of Green Bay is that the Packers have owned Chicago over the last ten meetings, going 8-2 Straight Up and 7-3 Against The Spread. The Bears are actually 1-8 ATS in their last 9 vs. all of the NFC North teams.
Jordy Nelson of the Packers is a “must start” wide receiver who should have little problem taking care of a Bears secondary that is riddled with injuries.
The Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery will likely be able to take advantage of a Green Bay secondary that has allowed 18.7 fantasy points per game to opposing receivers.
Elsewhere, Packers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers should perform well for Fantasy owners with Chicago’s depleted secondary and a front that has struggled to stop the run.
Opposing backfields have tallied 33, 19 and 19 standard Fantasy points in the first three weeks of the season versus the Packers so Matt Forte is a "must start" this week. Did we mention that the Green Bay front is allowing the fifth-most Fantasy points per game to opposing backs.
The Bears are surrendering a generous 4.9 yards per carry on the season. This opens up Packers Eddie Lacey for a breakout game.
