The Broncos-Jets betting line has been extremely fluid throughout the week with the number opening at Denver -7.5 at some books and moving all the way to -10.  Here’s the problem, the sportsbooks are still exposed at this number as nearly 90% of the action is coming in on the road favorite Broncos.

The only good news for the 10% of Jets backers is that Denver has had a rough time on field turf of late, going 0-5 Against The Spread in their last 5 games.

Denver comes into this game 18-5 Straight Up in their last 23 games and, while the Broncos starting quarterback position is all about Peyton Manning, New York’s starting QB woes enter Week 6 with neither Geno Smith or Michael Vick being especially effective last week.
Manning threw for a career-high 479 yards and four scores in Denver's 41-20 victory over Arizona last week and this makes him a fantasy stud in Week 6, and probably the rest of the season for that matter.

He’s expected to be the highest scoring fantasy quarterback again this week as, not only is the quarterback position for the Jets in complete disarray, their defense is just has horrible.  New York is giving up multiple touchdowns per day and going up against Manning isn’t exactly the cure for this ailment.

ESPN.com’s fantasy outlook for Peyton Manning also shines some light on why this spread is so huge.

“New York is also ranked 31st in the NFL in red zone efficiency defense (73 percent), meaning another four TD tosses is entirely possible.”
