The Wisconsin running back rushed for 175 yards and four touchdowns in Saturday’s big win over Illinois.  The junior eclipsed 1,000 yards on the season in just Wisconsin's sixth game, a school record.

He’s the talk of the Heisman chatterbox but the question Gordon is always asked in reference to the Badgers 3-2 season coming into this game: “You passed up the NFL for THIS?”

“You just ignore it really,” Gordon said, noting he hears the question from people outside the team and his family. “You can’t respond to that stuff. They wouldn’t be saying that if we were 5-0. You’ve got to take it for what it is, just ignore it.

“I can’t downgrade my teammates like that. That’s just not how it should be.”
