Oregon Ducks @ Utah Utes
When most of the big games end on Saturday, this is the one that will still be going on late at night in Salt Lake City. Oregon has the Pac-12 North all locked up. The Ducks now want to stay alive for the College Football Playoff. Utah wants to be able to stay in the running for the Pac-12 South championship. The Utes, at home, will play with a lot of energy, but Oregon has Marcus Mariota, a Heisman candidate and one of the best players in the country. Utah will keep the game close and cover, but Mariota will do enough to ensure that Oregon wins the game outright.

Kansas State Wildcats @ TCU Horned Frogs – Saturday, November 8
This is the Big 12’s biggest game on Saturday. TCU has a favorable closing schedule, so if it wins this game, it will be in the mix for the playoffs through the end of the regular season. Kansas State leads the Big 12, but this is the first of three very tough road games for the Wildcats, with later clashes at West Virginia and Baylor. TCU might have more speed, but Kansas State is so well-coached on defense that the Wildcats are going to be able to force turnovers from the Horned Frogs and win the game outright.

Alabama Crimson Tide @ LSU Tigers – Saturday, November 8
The Crimson Tide are good, but they haven’t yet shown that they’re great. They crushed a horrible Texas A&M team and got by Tennessee after having a 27-point lead sliced to 10. Alabama is not as good as it was in previous years. The Crimson Tide are getting way too much respect in this game. The Tide might win outright, it’s going to be very close. LSU looks like a very good bet to cover the spread here.
