It’s a good year to be a bookie in the Magnolia State of Mississippi.  With two of the state’s top schools excelling in College Football, the demand for local bookies has never been greater.

Kent, a local bookie from Greenville, tells Gambling911.com his overall volume generated has more than tripled over last year.

“The folks here want to support their local College teams whether that’s Ole Miss or the Bulldogs,” Kent disclosed.  “When their team is winning they feel more comfortable putting some money behind these schools.”

Mississippi schools have been relegated to the status of "red headed step child of the SEC" in recent years.  Not any more!

Kent is building on his lucrative local bookie business and he’s seeing a profit thanks to the Bulldogs inability to cover games over recent weeks.  Mississippi State has lost their last three games Against The Spread.

Kent also enjoyed a banner day two weeks ago when the Rebels failed to cover against Auburn.  Nearly all the action he took was on Ole Miss in a hotly contested matchup that had everyone in the state tuning in.

Offshore outsourcing firms like PayPerHeadAgents.com offer support for local bookies, providing a state-of-the-art foundation that might not otherwise have been available

But just with any other business, pains associated with explosive growth will surely be felt and Kent is no exception to this rule.  He has had to outsource to one of the several dozen Pay Per Head brands operating offshore that manage nearly every aspect of his bookie enterprise.  Sites like PayPerHeadAgents.com, for example, charge around $10 per each of Kent’s customers only if they bet in a given week.  In exchange for payment, PayPerHeadAgents.com and similar companies provide a customized website for the bookie, live lines, a mobile betting interface and, in the case of PayPerHeadAgents, even a virtual online casino.

“It’s worth it!” Kent says.  “Especially if you happen to be a bookie in the great state of Mississippi.  There is so much business here, I’d have to cap out my number of customers if not for these outsourcing businesses.”
