The Chiefs vs. Raiders point spread had Kansas City as a -7.5 road favorite in Oakland.  This one had to cross the dreaded number 7 due to the heavy action on the Chiefs.  It would appear bookmakers believe Kansas City will cover here.

The Chiefs are an impressive 7-3 coming into this game as most pundits wrote them off as a fluke following last season’s dramatic turnaround.  Oakland we can only wish was a fluke as they come into this matchup without a win.

The Chiefs won both meetings in this series a year ago and neither game was close. The Chiefs won 24-7 at home and 56-31 on the road.

This has been a road team series for the most part as the Chiefs have won 8 of the last 10 in Oakland and covered eight of the ten. Seven of the last nine in Oakland have gone under the NFL betting odds total.

The BetDSI.com prediction for this game appears below.

NFL betting used to be built mostly around teams. Bettors looked at spreads, totals, moneylines, injuries, weather and coaching matchups. Those pieces are still there, but the modern football betting board is much more player-driven than it used to be.
