Who partnered up with the Warriors?

PlayMLF.com (Major League Fantasy) is the new kid on the block when it comes to a daily fantasy sector dominated by FanDuel.com and DraftKings.com.

Major League Fantasy CEO Jesse Merl confirmed to Forbes.com they had secured the deal with the Warriors this past week.  Both FanDuel and Draftkings were in talks with Golden State.

“We think fantasy players want a different experience and a better choice and we plan on delivering it,” Merl told Forbes.  ”The Golden State Warriors, the 2014 Sports Team of the Year, are arguably the most innovative franchise in the NBA, and a great partner.  The type of partner who does things differently, puts an amazing product on the court and delivers an amazing experience night after night.  We’re excited about the road ahead.”

PlayMLF.com looks to differentiate itself from other fantasy sites by offering a social networking component built from the ground up.

“Fantasy players want an outlet to gloat, laugh, celebrate, complain, cry, joke, congratulate, humiliate, challenge, and smack talk their opponents and friends in the same place where they enter and play fantasy,” Merl offered.
