The Packers vs. Bucs betting line was coming in at Green Bay -12 with a few books offering the -11.5. This is a critical game for Green Bay, which is in a race to make the Playoffs with division rival Detroit. This Packers team has not performed well on the road.  Green Bay is 3-4 away from home where they are perfect this season.  Despite being 10-4 Straight Up on the season, the Packers are 7-6 Against the Spread while Tampa Bay has won only two games Straight Up but has paid out in six.  Green Bay last played Tampa in 2011 at home, winning by 9 points and the line was -14 in that particular game.

The NFC North could come down to Green Bay's Week 17 matchup versus Detroit and the Lions, at least on paper, should also have an easy win in Chicago this week.  The line on that game was Detroit -9.5.
"This just ups the urgency," Rodgers said. "Some teams do captains all year long and have the 'C' on their jersey. I think that's a good idea too. Mike has mixed it up over the years. And this year, we're kind of starting a little early."

One of the hottest trends for gamblers would be Green Bay’s ability to bounce back following a loss.  They are 5-1-1 Against The Spread in their last 7 games following a ATS loss.  The Buccaneers, meanwhile, are a dismal 3-11 ATS in their last 14 vs. NFC.

On the Fantasy front, one would anticipate a bounce back from Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers as well with Tampa Bay allowing the ninth most Fantasy point for this position.

Likewise, running back Eddie Lacy should have little trouble getting past Tampa Bay Sunday.  The Bucs have allowed a 117.2 rushing yards per game since Week 10 and will be without one of their top defensive players for this game.
