Damian Lillard – Portland - ($9000) – It’s really impossible to pass up Lillard, who will be on a back-to-back after playing Phoenix but face the Celtics this evening. LaMarcus Aldridge is not expected to play as he undergoes a second MRI to determine the extent of an injured left hand. The first MRI was reportedly inconclusive.
Without Aldridge in the lineup, one can expect Lillard to get plenty of playing time.
Lillard was tested against the Suns and managed to score 22 points along with 6 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals, but he also had 5 turnovers Wednesday night. Expect a much better performance versus the Celtics, who have lost to Portland in their last four meetings.
Taj Gibson – Chicago – ($5500) – 40 minutes playing time with Joakim Noah out. Price + minutes makes up for what should otherwise be a touch matchup. 25 plus Fantasy points should provide more than enough value.
