Iowa State Cyclones Looking for a Rare Win at Allen Fieldhouse

Not many teams go into Allen Fieldhouse and win. Every game since 2001-2002 has been sold out and the crowd is crazy. “It’s just not a place you go down there and win very often,” Iowa State head coach Fred Hoiberg said last year. “If you win one there, obviously it’s huge.” The Jayhawks have lost just nine conference games at Allen Fieldhouse but the Iowa State Cyclones have three of those wins, but none since 2005. Iowa State won by two points in 2000 (64-62), 2001 (79-77) and 2005 (63-61). Last season the Cyclones lost 92-81 at Kansas. The Iowa State Cyclones have been better this season against the spread on the road as they have covered three of their four road games this season. The team is averaging 80 points per game and allowing 68 points per contest.

Kansas Jayhawks 6-2 ATS at Home

The Kansas Jayhawks have been really good at home this season as they are unbeaten straight up and 6-2 ATS. The Jayhawks are leading the Big 12 but it is such a strong conference this season that their lead is just one game over a number of teams. The Jayhawks are averaging 72 points per game and allowing 64 per contest. They have gone over the total six times at home this season.
