One of the most prominent attorneys in the world of fantasy and gaming, Mr. Jeffrey Ifrah, has been slated to speak at the first ever Daily Fantasy Sports Expo in sunny Miami Beach this August 6-7.

Ifrah has been closely monitoring the recent class action lawsuit filed against daily fantasy sports juggernauts DraftKings and FanDuel related to alleged misrepresentation in advertising.  His knowledge of the fantasy industry as well as gaming is invaluable and you can read more from Ifrah Law here.

The Daily Fantansy Sports Expo will focus on management, technology and marketing for the fantasy sports industry. Since 2006, fantasy sports has grown from USD $1.6 billion industry to a USD $15+ billion industry. It's meteoric rise is considered the tip of the iceberg, given the new dynamic of Daily Fantasy Sports. In the old days, rotisserie leagues and fantasy baseball represented the majority of player interest. Today, fantasy football has become the dominant game of choice among consumers, with fantasy basketball as second and fantasy soccer being seen as rising segment.

The event will bring together individuals from all segments of varying industries with an interest in the daily fantasy sports space.

Several events at some of South Beach’s hottest venues are currently being planned to culminate with DFSE.

All your friends from Gambling911.com will be in attendance including intrepid reporter, Thomas Somach, who also writes for the San Francisco Chronicle, Examiner and National Enquirer, former captain of the Indianapolis Colts cheerleading squad and now clothing entrepreneur Lisa Perry, and of course, the beloved Jenny Woo.
