CNN’s Morgan Spurlock “Inside Man” plans to take us inside the world of anonymous digital currency Bitcoin on Thursday February 19, 2015 at 9 pm EST and online gambling site Bookmaker.eu is hoping to capitalize on what will likely be a mini-surge of sorts on folks trying out the mysterious currency.

The Bookmaker Bitcoin platform was implemented just days ahead of this year’s Super Bowl.

A company spokesperson tells Gambling911.com the time was right as more and more mainstream outlets begin profiling the relatively new payment method.

“About 10% of our customer base is using Bitcoin,” the spokesperson tells Gambling911.com.

That number will surely grow as payment and withdrawal methods for online gambling have diminished over the years with stricter regulations in place.  ACH payments, once a mainstay of the industry, are no longer an option.

Spurlock’s program on CNN will take Bitcoin to primetime and will be rebroadcast throughout the weekend reaching millions of viewers.

Thursday’s episode will look at whether Spurlock can survive on just Bitcoin.

“Morgan promises, you will understand bitcoin by the end of this episode,” a promo voiceover says.

Until now, a failure to grasp how Bitcoin works has been among the currency’s greatest obstacles.
