Southern Methodist, with its 20-5 record Straight Up, comes into this game as a -6.5 home favorite.  The Mustangs were hovering just above the .500 mark Against The Spread while the Huskies were four games under .500 ATS.  Connecticut comes into this games with a 14-9 SU record.  UConn has only covered in three of their last ten games overall while SMU has either covered or pushed in seven of their last ten.

SMU has won and covered in their only two games of this series, both of which were played last year.  At home, the Mustangs were only a 2-point favorite.
