An unidentified bettor at Las Vegas' SLS casino picked both Georgia State and UAB on the money line, ESPN.com is reporting.
On Wednesday night, the bettor plopped down $300 on UAB to win straight-up at plus-900 odds and $425 on Georgia State at plus-375.
Combined, the tickets paid close to $4,600.
A money line bet requires a particular side to win outright. There is no spread involved. As such the payout odds on big underdogs the likes of UAB and Georgia State were especially high.
