Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook is priced at $12500 at Draftkings. This requires a 50-fantasy point showing from the NBA star each night, something many fantasy players will shy away from.

Moving forward, Westbrook will need to pick up the slack for injured Kevin Durant and thus far he’s met that challenge. On Friday it was announced Durant would likely be out the remainder of this season, prompting oddsmakers to all but write off the Thunder’s chances of making it to the Playoffs.
It’s not just Durant. Westbrook must also help fill a void left by forward Nick Collison, who is expected to miss 10 days with an ankle sprain.
OKC remained 9 wins over the .500 mark but just two games ahead of New Orleans and three games ahead of Phoenix for that final Playoff spot in the West.
Both gamblers and daily fantasy enthusiasts have made out well by backing Westbrook and the Thunder. Oklahoma City has won 7 of their last 10 games, but more importantly, they have covered the spread in four of their last five.
As for Westbrook and his fantasy value, how’s 70-plus fantasy points against the Hawks in his last game sound?
With both Durant and Collison out, other Thunder team members will see more minutes and thus reap the rewards for fantasy players.
Shooting guard Dion Walters scored 26 baskets against the Hawks Friday night priced at just $4.1K. He also tacked on two blocks, a steal and a few rebounds and assists for good measure.
Center Steven Adams is priced at just $4.5K and needs approximately 24 fantasy points to make value. Against Atlanta he had 16 rebounds and 2 assists along with 2 blocks and 2 steals. Tack on 12 baskets scored and Adams easily topped 40 fantasy points.
