The first ever Daily Fantasy Sports Expo in Miami Beach is shaping up for quite an impressive debut.

Marc Lesnick, the conference organizer and someone who has regularly put on top trade shows in the world of online gambling and i-Dating, tells Gambling911.com the initial response for this event has been unprecedented.

“We are getting new inquiries to speak on a daily basis,” Lesnick revealed.

In just the past few days a number of daily fantasy sports operators have joined on to speak including Swagger Stadium, FanWars, SideLeague and Pro Draft League (known for its discussions with NFL player Ray Rice in recent weeks).  A number of software providers will also be in attendance.

Someone who won’t be coming: NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who graciously declined an invitation to attend.

The NBA and some of its franchises have entered into sponsorship agreements with daily fantasy sports sites in recent months.

The event will take place August 6-7 with the SLS Hotel in South Beach serving as the host hotel.

Gambling911.com founder and CEO, Chris Costigan, will be hosting some of the sessions.  The entire G911 crew will be on hand as well as we prepare to launch DFS911.com.
