A melee involving dozens of casino patrons turned into an epic brawl at the Resorts World Casino at the Aqueduct Race Track in Queens, New York, all of which was caught on cell phone videos.

The incident occurred at the opening of a Fat Tuesday daiquiri bar within the establishment and quickly escalated into the neighboring food court.

Police say officers arrived just before midnight to find about two dozen people enmeshed in fights in the casino's food court.

Injuries were reported and an exact reason for the melee had yet to be determined.

“Didn’t really see much of people trying to call the cops, you just see people trying to get footage of it,” one witness told 1010 WINS’ Darius Radzius.
“All I remember was it was chairs flying everywhere, it was chaotic. It was too much going on at one time a lot of people were there, the line was ridiculously long,” witness Elize Brown said.

Some 300 people were in the casino at the time.
