With news that former Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will finally announce her bid for U.S. Presidency, Gambling911.com anticipates a slight surge in betting over the coming days

“It will be interesting to see if the current odds get slashed with Hillary (Clinton’s) formal announcement,” says Payton O’Brien, Senior Editor of Gambling911.com.

Those odds ahead of Sunday’s announcement were set at +160 for a payout potential of $160 for every $100 bet or $16 for every $10 wagered.

"Becoming a grandmother has made me think deeply about the responsibility we all share as stewards of the world we inherit and will one day pass on," Clinton, 67, writes in her epilogue. "Rather than make me want to slow down, it has spurred me to speed up."

Clinton remained the big favorite to become U.S. President in 2016.
