“Daily Show” host Jon Stewart took New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to task over his anti-marijuana stance while simultaneously endorsing legalized online gambling in the state.

From Philly.com:

Though, at the same time, Christie seems to be of the mind-set that his administration will not “raise revenue from anything addictive, or that federal law disapproves of” — except, you know, gambling.

“Let the man be ideologically consistent,” Stewart said of Christie. “Or at least appear that way.”

Christie signed legislation over a year ago that permits casino gambling and poker on the Net for real money.

The outspoken Governor has said he would not allow legalized pot should he be elected President of the United States.

“There is a difference, to be fair,” Stewart said. “You smoke too much pot, no one comes to break your f------ kidneys.”
