The UNDER is an enticing – albeit somewhat dangerous pick – with Chris Sale starting in the Royals vs. White Sox April 23 matchup.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Royals RH Yordano Ventura (2-1, 4.80 ERA) vs. White Sox LH Chris Sale (2-0, 2.25)

The UNDER is 10-3 in Sale’s last 13 starts vs. KC with the total coming in at 7.

Sale is 7-8 with a 2.68 ERA in 24 career appearances (13 starts) against the Royals and that certainly has our mouths watering here at Gambling911.com.  He has also only permitted 70 hits in 247 at bats versus the current Royals roster.

Lorenzo Cain has hit 13-for-37 against Sale with two homeruns.  Alcides Escobar is 18-for-45 but with just one RBI.  Kendrys Morales has hit on two of three against Sale.

Meanwhile, the Royals are 13-3 in Ventura’s last 16 starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5.

He gave up five runs and four hits in 3 1/3 innings against the Athletics after allowing three total runs in his first two outings.  We suspect he will be back on his A Game for this one.  He is 2-2 with a 4.67 ERA in six career starts against Chicago.

The UNDER is 6-2 in the White Sox last 8 overall and we think this one stays UNDER 7 also.
