Best Bets – OVER 6.5 (Sportsbook.ag)

DFS Picks April 25 – Howie Kendrick, Justin Turner, Yangervis Solarte, Matt Kemp, Will Middlebrooks

PITCHING MATCHUP: Dodgers RH Brandon McCarthy (2-0, 4.50 ERA) vs. Padres RH Ian Kennedy (0-0, 0.00)

LA Dodgers DFS Picks – McCarthy didn’t allow a run in his last start against the Rockies but allowed 4 and 5, respectively, in his previous two starts.  We can’t help but think McCarthy is going to be a bit looser in this one, something he can ill-afford to do with a few of on the Padres roster enjoying success against him.

Carl Crawford – He is 12-for-29 against Ian Kennedy though he’s only had two hits out of 10 at bats over the past week.

Howie Kendrick – He is 2-for-5 against Kennedy with a double.

Justin Turner – He’s hit 6-for-11 vs. Kennedy with 3 doubles and 2 RBIs.  Turner has hit 5-for-16 in the past week.

San Diego DFS Picks –

Yangervis Solarte – He’s 2-for-3 with both of those doubles against Brandon McCarthy.

Matt Kemp – He is 4-for-9 against McCarthy.  He was priced at $4.6K coming into this game.

Will Middlebrooks – He is 3-for-5 against McCarthy with a homer and has played well in recent days.  He is slugging .484 with three homers and he also has two steals coming into this week.
