Carrie Stroup here and we have your exclusive online Mayweather-Pacquiao betting action report that came into us Saturday courtesy of Sportsbook.ag
As Gambling911.com reported Friday, some $60 million to $80 million was expected to be wagered on this fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao when all was said and done Saturday.
Online, we don’t have exact dollar figures but, leading up to the fight, the betting volume of Mayweather-Pacquiao surpassed the previous boxing record in Sportsbook.ag's 18 year history (Mayweather-De La Hoya 2007), according to Matt James, spokesperson for that site. That was by early afternoon Saturday.
“We expect to double volume by fight time, and this is excluding all the additional props and Live Betting we will be offering," James told Gambling911.com Saturday afternoon.
James elaborated further: “Mayweather is attracting the big cash, but Pacquiao attracting far more bet tickets (60%)
“We originally opened odds on this fight back in 2012, when Mayweather was a -160 favorite. When we reopened the market earlier this year at one stage Mayweather was a -300 favorite, but public support of the underdog has slowly moved the line towards Pacquiao.”
So what were the most popular prop bets when all was said and done?:
Pacquiao to win in Round 12 at 50-1

Fight to end in a draw 9-1
Pacquiao to land higher % of jabs +210
