DraftKings NASCAR Rumors in Full Throttle Ahead of Indy 500

A Gambling911.com source has revealed that NASCAR will be the next professional sport to enter into a sponsorship deal with a daily fantasy sports company.  The leading suitor is said to be DraftKings.

One only needs to explore the NASCAR properties to notice how popular daily fantasy sports is becoming among race fans.

And this news should shock anyone who has been following NASCAR industry news in recent weeks.

Just days after Walt Disney invested $250 million in the world's 2nd largest daily fantasy site, the Boston-based company announced it had hired NASCAR marcomms exec Sabrina Macias to serve as its first full-time communications director.

Odds are good that an announcement could be made prior to NASCAR’s big day, the Indianapolis 500 on May 24.

Draftkings recently announced its expansion of an exclusive sponsorship deal with Major League Baseball in which it has emblazoned the company’s logo throughout several stadiums this season, including behind home plate and on the centerfield wall.

Draftkings rival FanDuel announced last month it had entered into sponsorship deals with 15 NFL franchises.
