While we got crushed last night with our OVER pick on the Athletics vs. White Sox only to have this one go well UNDER, G911 will once more be on the OVER 7.5 found at Bookmaker.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Athletics LH Scott Kazmir (2-0, 1.62 ERA) vs. Twins RH Kyle Gibson (2-2, 3.56)

The OVER is 24-9-1 in Minnesota's last 34 home games, 19-6-1 in Oakland's last 26 overall and 7-2 in Gibson's last 9 home starts.

Kazmir has gone three straight starts without a decision despite allowing three runs or fewer in each.  He has made 13 career starts versus the Twins, going 7-4 with a 3.42 ERA.  Oakland relievers have given up additional runs in his three starts and that has been the trend overall.  In fact, leading up to last night’s game, Oakland's relievers had surrendered at least two runs in 12 of the last 18 contests.  They only surrendered one run in Tuesday night’s game.

Gibson is coming off his best outing of the season so he may be a bit looser in this one.  He surrendered six runs against the A’s in his only career start facing this ball club.

DFS Picks – Trevor Plouffe will likely give Kazmir fits tonight as he has an ERA of .346 in the last seven days and is averaging .368 versus Kazmir with 7-for-19 hitting.  He has three RBIs and two doubles against the A’s starter.
