(Gambling911.com Fantasy Sports Wire) – We kinda expected it.  Washington Nationals starting pitcher Max Scherzer was going to have a big day. That’s exactly what happened.

Backed by a Bryce Harper home run, Nationals ace Max Scherzer was in the midst of another gem against the Pirates.  He was a solid recommendation for Daily Fantasy players, and with good reason.

Coming into Saturday’s game, Scherzer had allowed a mere 10 hits off of 71 at bats against the current Pirates roster (1.41 ERA).  He was 7-5 with a 1.93 ERA on the season thus far.  He also had six victories in his last eight. – Dan Shapiro, Gambling911.com
