(Gambling911.com News Wire) – Shocking revelations surfaced on Monday that disgraced former Major League Baseball player turned manager, Pete Rose, not only bet on Baseball as a manager but also did so as a player.

The news comes as Rose has attempted to be reinstated into the game.  Pages from a long hidden notebook published by ESPN appear to contradict Rose’s assertion that he never wagered on Baseball as a player. The documents obtained by ESPN’s Outside the Lines show no evidence that Rose, who was a player-manager in 1986, bet against his team.  In the time covered in the notebook, from March through July, Rose bet on at least one MLB team on 30 different days.

Rose, a 17-time All-Star for the Cincinnati Reds who later became that ball club’s manager, admitted in 2004 that he had placed bets on baseball as a manager. That admission came after nearly 15 years of denials.
