The former son-in-law of the late crime boss John Gotti has been taken into police custody for running an alleged “large-scale” car theft ring.

Ohio authorities made the allegations against Carmine “The Bull” Agnello.  He is the ex-husband of Victoria Gotti, daughter of John Gotti, who passed away in 2002 after being sentenced to life in prison for multiple criminal counts.  John Gotti reigned over the Gambino crime family in New York City.

The 18-month investigation suggests that Agnello’s operation crushed stolen cars and filled them with dirt.

"His nickname is 'The Bull,'" Cleveland Police Deputy Chief Ed Tomba said during a news conference today of Agnello. "This guy was out on the lot every single day," adding that "he stuck out."

Agnello previously served time in prison in New York for similar crimes.
