2015 New Orleans Saints Offense
The Saints were a very good offense a year ago but far too often they were kept out of the end zone. They led the league in total yards but they were just 9th in points. It may not get any better without top red zone target Jimmy Graham who is now in Seattle. Drew Brees has seen his best days but he is still a very good quarterback. The addition of Max Unger at center could help Brees as will the addition of running back C.J. Spiller. There was no question that Brees missed his safety valve Darren Sproles last season but now he has a player in Spiller who can fill that role. Brees has quality receivers in Brandin Cooks, Marques Colston and tight end Josh Hill.
2015 New Orleans Saints Defense
The Saints were a mess on defense last season as they allowed 26.5 points per game. The team used six of their eight draft picks on defense so they should be better. Stephone Anthony should step in and play right away at linebacker and it could be that Hau'oli Kikaha also becomes an immediate starter. The team added P.J. Williams who should upgrade the secondary and they signed Brandon Browner who was with New England. The Saints should be better on defense this season but that isn’t saying much considering how bad they were a year ago.
