Can Miami Live up to the Hype?
The Dolphins are one of the “hot” teams heading into the 2015 season. They went out and got defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh from the Detroit Lions and with an improving quarterback in Ryan Tannehill, the Dolphins are thought of as a team that might challenge New England in the AFC East. The key for Miami might be the passing game which means the spotlight will be on young receivers, Kenny Stills, Jarvis Landry and rookie Devante Parker. It is also worth noting that the Dolphins have a new tight end in Jordan Cameron who is a very good player when he is healthy.
Cousins the Starter
The Redskins are a mess as they still have Robert Griffin III on the team. Fortunately for them they won’t be starting RGIII at quarterback but they are just one hit to Kirk Cousins away from having to go back to Griffin. Washington has some offensive talent with Alfred Morris and DeSean Jackson so if Cousins gets time to throw they might be able to score some points. The Redskins have a new defensive coordinator this season in Joe Barry and his job will be to improve a defense that was 20th in the league last season. How well the defense plays may decide if the Redskins are competitive in 2015.
Game Notes
