While Republican U.S. Presidential candidate and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina has seen her odds slashed in recent weeks following a highly lauded first debate appearance, one might anticipate a further reduction in her current 15-1 price at Sportsbook.ag following Wednesday night’s second GOP debate.

Fiorina captured the public’s attention as part of the so-called “Kid’s Table” debate that featured candidates who fell out of the top 10 in terms of current national polling averages.  Her polls numbers jumped enough to ensure a spot in CNN’s Republican debate Wednesday night.

Though most will be tuning in once more to see what frontrunner Donald Trump has to say, the big question will be whether Fiorina takes on the Donald following some unflattering comments he made last week about her looks.  This will be the first time these two non-politicians square off against one another on the same stage.

The New York Times writes of the potential fireworks:

Political strategists warn male candidates to use caution when debating against a female rival. But never before in American presidential politics has a candidate who has drawn accusations of sexism and bullying been forced to personally confront the female recipient of his insults on live television. And with Mrs. Fiorina bragging that she is getting under Mr. Trump’s skin, their showdown is emerging as one of the most intriguing subplots of the second debate.

Gambling911.com released its overnight total on the final ratings outcome for Wednesday night’s debate, offering an OVER/UNDER of 28.5 million while many of the experts believe that number will be somewhere closer to 22.5 million.

“The anticipated Trump-Fiorina showdown coupled with an increase in overall television viewership during the month of September should see a rather significant increase from the 24 million who tuned in to watch the first debate back in early August,” predicts Gambling911.com Senior Editor Payton O’Brien.  “The sharp money will be on the OVER.”

O'Brien added: "There is almost as much hype about the potential showdown between Trump and Fiorina as there was for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, and we know how many people tuned in to watch that even though it was on Pay Per View.  Enough said."
