Heading into Saturday morning, the Georgia Bulldogs had lost their favorite status against visiting Alabama.  This week marked the first time in 73 games that the Crimson Tide had been designated an underdog.

Depending on the book, Georgia was either a PICK’EM or +1 underdog.  Better than 70 percent of the public wagering action was still flowing in on Alabama.

The Wynn opened Georgia -1.5 last Sunday, but that line immediately climbed to -2.5 and eventually settled in at -2 across the board.  Once again, the line on this game is fluid.

Opponents have been averaging 2.0 yards per carry against the Tide this season.  Alabama’s defense is still ranked among the top ten in the nation despite some chinks in the armor.

Georgia's passing offense is widely viewed as the best in the country through the first four games of this season.
