Dallas remains a team that will be dependent on their defense that ranks a solid eighth overall in the NFL. The Cowboys are still facing plenty of skeptics, even if Romo was healthy, but Romo’s absence has only added fuel to the fire.
Saints Go Marching Out
The New Orleans Saints are 0-3 straight up and 1-2 against the spread with two out of their three games going over the total. The Saints are coming off a 27-22 loss at the Carolina Panthers and are facing increased worries on defense. New Orleans ranks 29th in the NFL for total defense and 27th for scoring defense. Meanwhile the Saints offense is too one dimensional with a ground attack that ranks 26th in the NFL which puts all of the pressure on their passing attack. The load of having to carry the team has been a drag on quarterback Drew Brees who has an 82.0 QB rating.
