The MSU Spartans may be 5-0 and ranked number two in the nation but don’t tell that to gamblers.  Michigan State is 0-5 Against The Spread.  Bookies and fans can certainly rejoice.

The Spartans lost another close one to the Boilermakers on Saturday.

Michigan State's school-record streak of 12 games with at least 30 points was also snapped during that 24-21 victory.

''The bottom line is just win,'' Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said. ''You're the No. 2 team in the nation, you're going to get everybody's best shot.''

MSU was currently listed with 8-1 odds of winning the 2016 College Football Championship.

Bookies in central regions of Michigan from south to north where Spartans fans rank supreme can capitalize even further by setting up with Pay Per Head businesses that offer live in-play wagering and online casinos as a means of improving profit margins.  Lansing, Kalamazoo and much of the I-75 corridor running through Michigan represents Spartan territory.
