Daily Fantasy Sports company DraftKings CEO Jason Robins appeared on Fox Business Network Wednesday insisting an employee did nothing wrong by playing on a competing site and winning $350,000, insisting at the time he made his picks that the employee in question did not have access to insider information.

Robins also told Maria Bartiromo he is yet to hear from the NFL, a partner in DraftKings, regarding the controversy that has made the rounds of most news outlets over the past 48 hours.

Bartiromo asked how it is possible that the employee in question did nothing wrong “was looking at information, that was not available to other people and made all that money on FanDuel after he put his picks out there”.

Robins claims that “insider” information was provided to the employee only after he posted his plays on FanDuel, and was unable to make any changes at that point.

“He couldn’t have possibly acted on it,” Robins said in regard to making his picks based on said information.

Robins was also asked to explain, if DraftKings had this critical flaw in its system, what other flaws might still be there and how exposed are players.
