BYU Cougars +2.5

Utah Utes -2.5

Total: 54

BYU Cougars 9-3 SU, 8-4 ATS

The Cougars finished with nine wins on the season but all everyone is talking about is the loss of head coach Bronco Mendenhall who is now Virginia’s head coach. Mendenhall will be allowed to coach the Cougars in this game so it will be interesting to see how the team reacts with their head coach going somewhere else. The Cougars had some good moments with Tanner Mangum throwing some late TD passes but overall the team couldn’t do enough to run the table. Mangum threw for more than 3,000 yards in his first season. The Cougars scored 34 points per game this season and allowed 22 per contest. They went over the total six times and under the total six times.

Utah Utes 9-3 SU, 5-7 ATS

The Utes were ranked in the Top 10 early in the season after they won six straight but a loss to USC ended their hopes of a huge season. Utah really didn’t play that well down the stretch as they went just 3-2 with losses to Arizona and UCLA. Even the final win against Colorado was ugly as they won 20-14. The Utes lost running back Devontae Booker to injury in the loss to UCLA and their Pac-12 hopes were gone. The Utes scored 30 points per game and allowed 22 points per contest. They went over six times and under six times in their twelve games.
