This season, the Cincinnati Bengals have gotten little respect despite their success.  Bookmakers in the Cincinnati area as well as sports bettors certainly respect this Bengals squad however.

The reason: Cincinnati had the best record in the NFL Against The Spread, going 12-2-1 (11-4 Straight Up).

Bookies servicing U.S. players across the board have been devoured by these Bengals all season long but nowhere has the bite been more potent than in the Cincinnati area.

As noted by the Cincinnati Bengals fan map, bookies throughout a wide swath of territory have suffered.  Bengals Nation in fact encompasses much of Bluegrass Country in Kentucky, including the Lexington area as well as the Dayton region.

Local bookies having utilized the services of offshore Pay Per Heads were left a little more unscathed, though banged up nonetheless.  Such Pay Per Head businesses offer live wagering and other loss leaders such as online casinos.

To put this in better perspective, bookies servicing the wide Bengals fan base would have had 12 losing weeks out of 16 coming into the final week.  OUCH!
