Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots – 4:35 pm (CBS)

New England Patriots -5, total 43

The New England Patriots host the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday with the home team favored. The Chiefs dominated the Houston Texans last week in the Wild Card round, winning 30-0 to advance to play the Patriots. The Chiefs feature the 3rd-ranked defense in the NFL while the Patriots have the 3rd-best offense. The teams haven’t met since Week 4 of last season when the Chiefs won 41-14 at home. The key in this game could be the top two receivers as Kansas City’s Jeremy Maclin has a sprained ankle and is day-to-day while New England’s Julian Edelman is set to return from his injury.

ATS Stats

The Chiefs were 5-3 ATS on the road in the regular season and the won and covered last week in Houston. They went over the total five times, under three times with one push. The Patriots were 4-2-2 ATS at home this season with four games going over and three going under.
