Multiple media outlets reported a federal jury returned guilty verdicts Tuesday against Jack Parker and Doug Taylor.

The men were convicted in 2013 but the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, overturned their original convictions. The appeals court said prosecutors improperly delayed releasing information to defense attorneys.

Parker is the father of Brett Parker, who is serving two life prison sentences for the 2012 deaths of his wife and a friend, who were partners with Brett Parker in his gambling business.

The sports betting operation was discovered as part of the investigation of the deaths of Tammie Parker and Bryan Capnerhurst in Irmo.

Jack Parker and Taylor will be sentenced later.
