Bulls-Hawks Betting Line February 26 – Under is 13-5 in Recent Series

The Bulls-Hawks betting line for Friday night had Atlanta as a -7 home favorite.  Both teams have nearly identical records Straight Up coming into this game (Bulls: 30-26, Hawks 31-27).

Despite hovering above the .500 mark Straight Up, Chicago has one of the worst records Against The Spread for a winning team (23-33).  One might expect oddsmakers to be more kind to Chicago in upcoming games as a means of boosting this ATS record to better reflect how they are performing Straight Up.  Friday’s rather expansive 7-point line following the Bulls four straight wins Against The Spread appears to be an illustration of this concept.

Atlanta has won four of the last five meetings in this series, all of which fell on or outside the current number.

The Hawks have proven to be especially lackluster coming off a bit of an extended break, going 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 3 or more days rest.  That being said, they are also 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games following a double-digit loss at home.

The UNDER is 13-5 in the last 18 meetings with the total set at 208.
