Baazov Bid Likely to be Only Bid for Amaya

Playtech will not bid on Amaya, a source familiar with the current negotiations advised Gambling911.com today.

However, Playtech's only interest would be alongside a bid by Amaya founder and CEO David Baazov, who had offered up a $2.8 billion bid last month to buy back the company.

It was indicated to Gambling911.com on Tuesday that other companies may enter the bidding war.

"(The) only potential other bidder would be William Hill, but very unlikely based on purchase price and that they would likely have to shut down some markets," our source tells us.
