Buckle up for an adrenaline pumping race to the finish line in the "UB 500" and the "AP 500" poker promotions, in which two leading online poker sites are gearing up to giveaway $530,000 in free money.
ultimatebet.com ("UB") and absolutepoker.com ("AP"), both powered by the CEREUS Poker Network, are two online poker rooms that are taking the highly publicized ‘bigger and better' concept to an extreme. Online poker players, get set to start your engines and rev up to enjoy some high octane poker action in UltimateBet and Absolute Poker's massively popular Rake Race, a $530,000 contest that's been ‘green-flagged' to get underway today, Wednesday, April 15th.
Both leading online poker sites are turning the online poker tables into the ultimate racetrack and the absolute last word in turbo-charged Texas Hold ‘em, as the current Rake Race pits player against player in pursuit of a piece of the $500,000 prizepool, which more than doubles the $220,000 rewards that were on the table in last month's CEREUS Rake Race.
For players who love their poker locked into overdrive, all that's required to qualify for the UB 500 and the AP 500 competitions is to play in any of UltimateBet or Absolute Poker's ring games, Sit & Gos or Multi-Table tournaments between April 15th and June 15th. Rack up as many RAI$E STATUS Points at UltimateBet or FAME STATUS Points at Absolute Poker by playing in any real-money raked ring game, and you're already on track to take a victory lap.
At the end of the qualifying period, the top 500 STATUS Point earners on the CEREUS Rake Race leaderboard will share in the $500,000 prize pool that includes $25,000 for the first place finisher, $22,000 for therunner-up, and $20,000 for the player who ranks third. Finish outside the top 500, and it's not all bad news. The top 1,000 STATUS Point earners will also book a seat in the $30,000 Rake Race freeroll, scheduled for June 28th at 2:00pm ET.
There's serious cash at stake, and every STATUS Point earned means moving up on the winner's podium. With 530,000 reasons to join the chase, fasten your seat belts for a wild ride that's sure to come down to the wire to decide just who takes the checkered flag first.
Thanks to CEREUS, UltimateBet and Absolute Poker's Rake Race promotion continues to deliver on the promise of a bigger and better online poker experience for players at both online poker sites. So, settle into the driver's seat and just keep earning STATUS Points to participate and secure a share of the $530,000 prize money up for grabs.
